I guess bleachers couldn't help themselves, the first shift from Kanu and they instantly fell on their knees, damn.

Accolades like rain, his style was sharper than pain...

Nigeria introduced more wows and flutters than my old Gemini Semi Automatic turntable, then it dawned on me that this is exactly how they played themselves out of the world cup!

The disappointing part is that the boyz played nothing really, the Nandi goal was there for the taking but i especially liked JJ's since he took the ball just over the half on a purposfull counter (u know the only thing rboyz know bout counter is flour!) and dazzle two defenders before blasting. Good work.

That goal and 2-nil must have shocked the Eagles because for a while after they seemed traumatized... fi real

Still, Bibi, lawd-have-mercy-Whitmore, Andy, Hyde, Nandi and Carl Brown all got D's in my book.

Bibi - looked like a nervous wreck
Whitmore - went into shock after Kanu's first touch and only managed to come out when he was subbed
Andy - cho Andy, how yuh get suh slow????
Hyde - forgot HE was the one in midfield!
Nandi - oh please, not again!!
CB - horrifying, horrible, ridiculous changes that doesn't seem to stop

Carl Brown strategy was to defend the little 2-nil 2nd half and Nigeria literally ran rings around the boyz, the equalizer was no surprise. Still Daley came on and represented well, nearly got a goal too with a solid 25yrd grounder that grazed the outside of the post! This youth is good.

Overall, too much instructions/fear/negativism in this game. The term 'tactical' was looming but the boyz never really flowed, and the equalizer proved that, along with the substitutions, and Nandi.

The boyz are ready to rumble, but CB's current recipe and 2006 won't mix, definetly.
