Local goalies for training camp - (Jamaica Observer - June 7, 2003)

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has invited 24 local goalkeepers to a training camp to be conducted by Fred Barber, goalkeeper coach of English Premier League side, Bolton Wanderers.

Barber is to be assisted by national goalkeeper coach, Paul Campbell and the JFF technical team.

The camp is to be held from Monday to Friday and will be staged at the Red Stripe Oval. Daily sessions will begin at 3:30 pm.

Those invited are Kevin Graham (Tivoli Gardens), Allan Reid, Fabian Dawkins (Arnett Gardens), Ryan Thompson (Harbour View), Simon Brown, Ruel Wilson (Bull Bay), Jason Lucas (Real Mona), Jamie Roberts, Craig Roberts (Wolmer's Boys), Tedroy Watson (Cornwall College), Marvin Mundy (St Andrew Technical), Andre Christie (Frome Technical), Andre McKnight (St James High), Jacomena Barrett (Rusea's High), Dwayne Dyer, Oneil Lawrence (Garvey Maceo), Sheldon Brown (Clarendon College), Erron Brown, Christopher Lewis (Glenmuir High), Jermaine Campbell (Norman Manley), Romando Johnson (Village United), Dennis Clayton, Keith Wilson (Rivoli United).

Figa more or less sey hym gwaan hafi guh back a Bolton sooner rather than the preferred later but would 've loved a looonger duration time and a some permanence to the programme on the whole. Nice Move, just hoping it is an auspicious beginning.
