Can you really question the on-field leadership?
What about the string of draws and the losses and yet the TEAM comes out game after game and lays it all on the line? Has there been any game...right down to the last minute where the TEAM has been seen to give up?

I cannot remember any? ...and I shall be watching these last few to see what happens with attitude of each individual players and the TEAM!
No sah, so far TEAM has been great!

Gallas: Bad Luck Cost Us Title

Arsenal captain William Gallas is adamant that the club would not be reflecting on another trophyless campaign had lady luck not abandoned them along the way.

Arsenal's dreams of a historic double have been effectively snuffed out within the span of five days, and while theories for the Gunners' collapse has ranged from Arsene Wenger's resistance to spending money to just plain inexperience, the French defender insists that they were undone by something beyond anyone's control.

"You can play well, but if the luck is not there, then you will win nothing," Gallas moaned.

"The luck went from us a few months ago. People have to understand that.

"We drew too many games at home, and away we lost important points.

"For a few months it has been difficult for us to react to conceding a goal, we have been going down very quick," he added.

"When the season started we were not like this and I don't know why we have been in trouble now after scoring a goal. We have to work on that for next season."

Gallas was not all doom and gloom, however, and insisted that some positives can be drawn from a campaign that promised so much but came unglued so spectacularly.

"What is very positive from last season is we should finish third in the Premier League, we went to the quarter-final of the Champions League, so we have improved," he added.

"However we cannot accept just that because when the season started we wanted to win everything, but then slowly, slowly we started to lose.

"Now at the end, we do not get anything. That is a great shame for the club.

"We have to speak together and to know what was wrong.

"We are not far away, but we will have to see what we can do next season.

"I hope we can get something. I am a competitor and want to win everything. You remember only the people who win trophies.

"For the fans and the club, it is important to get some cups.

"Now we just have to be professional and finish this season well."
