I was looking through PRENSA LIBRE for any news from the Guatemalan about the proposed match in Chicago.

Guatemala played a strong first half, and took a 1-0 lead into the locker room but fell apart in the second. According to PRENSA LIBRE, Guatemala's second-half substitutions didn't get the job done.
