    Tomlinson heads delegation to Cayman Islands

    President of the Westmoreland Football Association, Everton Tomlinson will head the delegation to the Cayman Islands where the country’s Under-20 squad will contest the CFU/CONCACAF Under-20 qualifiers from July 17-27. Accompanying Tomlinson will be coaches Walter Gama and Donovan Duckie, goalkeeper coach Aaron Lawrence and team manager Roy Simpson.
    Heading the list of players are recent national team invitees Andre Darby of Naggo Head, who will captain the team and midfielder Davion Thorpe of Reno Football Club in Westmoreland. Also included are Romario Campbell, Andre Blake and Andre Steele of Harbour View, the Waterhouse trio of Andre Clennon, Theo Brown and Ramone Palmer; Christopher Bonner, Kadian Wynter and Levaughn Williams of Sporting Central in Clarendon and the Portmore duo of Sean Fogah and Andre Campbell.

    Completing the squad are Alanzo Adlam and Keithy Simpson of Cavaliers, Romeo Parkes of St Mary’s Albion Mountain FC, Damaine Thompson of Bamboo, Hanover, Reno’s Dennis Taylor, Shavon Brown (Portmore United) and the overseas-based Yannick Salmon of Rutgers University.
    The players depart for The Cayman Islands on Monday July 21, 2008 at 7:30 pm and will play their first game on Wednesday July 23, against Puerto Rico, Bermuda on July 25 before completing their fixtures against the Cayman Islands on Sunday July 27, 2008.
