PETER THORNE insists the Canaries will bounce back from their horror show at the Britannia Stadium.

And that is starting with a home East Anglian derby with Colchester tomorrow.

Striker Thorne, 33, said: “We have to put it right. We’ve got to bounce back straight away at our place and we will.”

Norwich keeper Jamie Ashdown was sent off for bringing down winger Luke Chadwick in the box after 73 minutes.

Former Stoke ace Thorne said: “It was a terrible performance. We had a sniff in the second half but once our keeper was sent off that was it.

“It was easy for them and they played well.”

Lee Hendrie opened the scoring when he collected Mamady Sidibe’s pass and rifled in a shot before Ricardo Fuller fired home from six yards.

Danny Higginbotham netted the penalty after the Ashdown incident and Chadwick hammered home before Darel Russell scored from 20 yards.

Russell said: “We’re running red hot right now — firing on all cylinders.

“We’ve been threatening to do that for a while. We’re starting to gel.”</SPAN>
