Burnley boss Steve Cotterill is likely to make several changes to his team for the home clash with Stoke. Cotterill was left dejected after his team were beaten at struggling Hull on Saturday, and the former Cheltenham manager is expected to tinker with the starting line-up for the visit of Tony Pulis' men.

James O'Connor and Stephen Foster were both brought off after 30 minutes at the KC Stadium, with Kyle Lafferty and John McGreal introduced - meaning O'Connor and Foster could find themselves having to settle for a place on the bench against Stoke. Cotterill will still be without striker Andy Gray who is sidelined until at least February with an injured foot.

Stoke striker Ricardo Fuller is rated doubtful to face The Clarets. The former Portsmouth frontman was replaced after 81 minutes of Saturday's 3-1 win over Leeds after picking up a knock, and he could struggle to recover in time for the match at Turf Moor.

But midfielder <U>Lee Hendrie is unavailable for the clash as his loan deal from Aston Villa has expired and he has returned to Villa Park</U>. If Fuller misses out, Vincent Pericard is likely to start alongside Mamady Sidibe in attack. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></DIV>
