But wait!! U deh 'bout? Mi was a sta't fi tink seh "HL" stan' fi: "Hide from Liverpool" Yes my bwoy, Stoke is a big side that can beat any body on their day. KK has to let his mighty squad know that they have been faltering against these teams and we can't have that continue. I suspect that with Captain Fantastic back in the line up, we will have the best second half of the season performance in the Prem (especially if we get a goal-scoring January signing).

Paul on Carroll!....His weakness believe it or not is his unselfihness,I saw about 5 times in the game where if he had turned and ran at the City defence they would be Sh!tty...The one time he did it from the top of the 18 he created a scoring chance for himself.

If he changes that in his game ,he will be worth 50 million plus.Give him time , if we dont see any change in his game come next season,sell him.

I agree he needs to be more selfish, but his biggest problem to me is that he has no real discernible "skill". He can't dribble and has a very heavy first touch. i have no problem giving him time as he is still young, so we will see.

We can't under estimate the influence missing in the first half of the season with Gerrard gone. Even though he is on the downside of his playing career, you have to give him credit for playing a mature game. KK played him in the right place, behind Carroll with Bellamy and Downing on the wings and in front of Spearing and Henderson. That was the right shape. What I DID NOT like was the lack of finishing which still bothers me (despite Hart) especially from our boy Carroll who should have scored when he was one-on-one with the goalie. We definitely need another striker.
