"Really" what?
I read your comment below and that's fair enough, but the FA has a rule regarding commenting on the refs' performances, don't they? So why Fergie should get a free pass? But, this is why I say he should "slam" the FA and not the refs... either get them to change those rules (and of course all we would hear from ALL the managers is about the reasons why the refs screwed up their team's chance of winning), or advocate for more technological assistance for the refs.

If what was unfair? For fergie to be charged?Originally posted by Paul Marin View PostLazie - do you think this was unfair?
I am of the view that football is a results business. It's as a result of the results players lose their spot in the team, managers get fired, clubs win or lose the league (the Drogba reference fergie made, newcastle at ot last season etc) or teams get relegated (the no call for QPR after a clear foul on their keeper). I think it is comical that these officials fail to see what is happening in the game, yet when a manager express their disgust they are punished, but the officials that missed a clear penalty faces no action?

Fergie really shouldn't be slamming the refs but their employers, the FA.
