KINGSTON, Jamaica - Munro College’s Delano Williams ran a world leading 20.27 seconds to win the Class 1 boys 200m at the 103rd staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys Athletics championship at the national stadium earlier today.

The Turks and Caicos national who Friday night won the 100m in 10.28 seconds to become the first man to defend the Class 1 sprint double since Camperdown’s Garfield Campbell in 1986, took over the world leading time from Australian Joshua Ross’s 20.65 seconds set on March 9th at a meeting in Sydney Australia.

Williams is fifth on the 100m list that is being led by Jamaican Jermaine Hamilton’s 10.15 seconds set at the Milo Western Relays on February 9th.
