The Deputy Chief of Security at the Jamaica Postal Service has been abducted.

Family members believe 44-year-old Barrington Davis was taken from his St John’s Heights, home in Spanish Town, St. Catherine just before 11 o'clock last night.

So far, no ransom demands have been made.

His daughter, Melissa Davis said the security company which mans her father’s property informed her that something might be wrong.

Davis’ boyfriend, Randy Goldson said Melissa's dad who lives in Kingston had gone to check on his Spanish Town property.

He said the house was ransacked and there were signs of forced entry and that the car that he was driving was also missing.

The Spanish Town police have confirmed receiving a report on the matter and that investigations are ongoing.
