Police kill 'Lizard' in St Thomas

KINGSTON, Jamaica - A man identified only as ‘Lizard’ was shot and killed by police in St Thomas yesterday afternoon.
Reports are that Lizard, who is believed to be about 25-years-old, was fatally shot during a confrontation with police around noon at Logwood, Yallahs in the parish.
According to the police a hi-Point 9mm pistol with a magazine containing nine 9mm cartridges was seized.
The incident was reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
