watch this game here. The two teams are technically sound thus the bad field hardly affect their game. I guess if todays overpaid track stars/diva had to play on this field they would cry and boycott the game.

BTWonly Binho, Dinho, and Neymar could march on this team. Messi and di maria for the other. Skill fi skill

Sass it may start as a dream but end up as reality. Look at Prof.Simoes in 1994. The prof had a dream and it manifested in 98.

I'm not usually one for changes being made to the game but stopping goalies from picking up ball up from a back pass was a needed change.

That is true. Brazil had these sort of players dime a dozen up to the 90s and early 2k. My belief is that they are still in Brazil but kept out of the big clubs to suit the demand of the Euro market (to the detriment of the national team). Watch the Nike documentary Ginga to get my point.

Yup that team was very technical and the only reason why it was slowed is because of the field.

Now look at them again in 95:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uqElSMkclA

Yup heavy emphasis on technique even when the pace is quicker, but notice Brazil is without 2 or 3 of their star class (these players decide games in an instant; Romario, R9, Dinho, binho et al) attackers.

Look at them in 97 against less technical teams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPAS8dnA7zI

                    wow:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjyI7_NgrSw

99 back to taking on old rival:

                    still heavy on technique
