  • Sad state of affairs in Jamaica

I was just walking past one of our funeral homes and I saw a funeral just ending and a few politicians leaving with the 'mourners'.

I was curious and asked a friend of mine I saw there who had died and he said two guys who were shot three weeks ago. He saw my blank stare and then said, two brothers who were killed in Glendevon.

I still drew a blank and he said one was a taxi driver...that rang a bell as I recalled a newspaper headline about it recently.

Isnt it sad that we are now being reduced to being a number and even in the saddest of times, death that is, there are so many murders we cant keep up.

No Lazie..this is not the government's fault this time...the rumours are that the brothers had gone to a neighbouring parish and stolen some ganja and they tracked them down and exacted revenge.
Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
    Che Guevara.
