MONTEGO BAY - Mayhem reigned at Drax Hall yesterday as St Mary-based referee Desmond Ranger handed out five red cards and expelled Grange Hill coach Linval 'Palla' Wilson in a daCosta Cup Inter-Zone round game.

The Observer understands that four members of the Grange Hill team, along with Rodane Higgins of Ocho Rios were also sent off in the second half.
Ocho Rios were leading the game 1-0 when Higgins allegedly punched a Grange Hill player and was attacked by two members of the Grange Hill team. All three players were expelled.

The game deteriorated and two more Grange Hill players and Wilson were also subsequently ejected.

Ocho Rios won the game 4-0 to take the lead on goal difference in Group Two over Ben Francis KO champs Frome Technical, who beat Herbert Morrison 2-0 at Jarrett Park.

At Drax Hall, Grevon Harris scored twice and Shavar Brown and Zico Lewis once for Ocho Rios.

At Jarrett Park, Kesrick Samuels scored in the 80th minute and substitute Clovis Crooks in the 92nd for Frome, who dominated the match for long periods.

In the first game at the venue, Rusea's surged into a big first-half lead but had to dig deep to emerge 4-2 winners over William Knibb.

Demar Lawrence scored a spectacular long-range shot in the 21st minute and Andre Atkinson got his first two minutes later. Roydel Moncrieffe netted in the 40th to hand Rusea's a 3-0 half-time lead.

William Knibb rebounded in the second half through Cordel Simpson's brace, in the 68th and 80th.
Atkinson finished off the game with a brilliant move from Horace Maxwell in the 89th.

Clarendon College rebounded from their loss on Saturday in the Ben Francis KO with a 3-1 win over St Elizabeth Technical at Brancourt in Group Four and took the lead after Holmwood and DeCarteret drew 0-0.
In the first game of the double header, Denbigh beat Munro College 2-1, Spalding lead Group Three after beating Manchester 3-0. Yuh right on the money!

On a football note. How MC fi lose to Denbigh? Munro are Zone champions for Christ sakes! STETHS now lose to Clarendon. Ah well, schoolboy football for you. I am not sure if anything can be more unpredictable.
