Ricardo Fuller-Senior squad
 Ricardo Fuller is a fine example of Jamaica's youth system under Brazilian and former Technical Director of Jamaica, Rene Simoes. The youngster, made a name for himself at the under-20 level, scoring goals at a prolific rate, before moving to the under-23 and national senior team almost simultaneously. Great things were expected of him by his adoring supporters.
A gifted player, who has been given the nickname 'Wily Boo', maybe because of his deft moves and dribbling skills, which he has demonstrated time and time again while representing Tivoli Gardens FC. His club, that is located in the Western part of Kingston, competes in the top football division, the country's National Premier League (NPL). He is a tall, average built youngster, who had a successful trial stint with Charlton Athletics, who now competes in the English Premier League, and was offered, and in fact signed a one million pound contract with the club. The contract was revoked upon Fuller failing a medical test. The culprit, unfortunately, was his own back. He, however, had corrective surgery and the problem has since been fixed. Sadly, with Charlton doing fairly well in England, Fuller found himself out in the cold, as after months of training with the club, he was released. He soon joined up with Crystal Palace, in the dying stage of the English first division season, and while his limited appearances were always reported in a favorably manner, he was nonetheless released by the club after a change in management.
A former Camperdown High School, Manning Cup player, Fuller, is a dynamite of talent just waiting to explode. A pleasure to watch when he is on the move with the ball at his feet he can create his own special brand of magic. This magic has not been given the opportunity to be showcased at the highest senior level. Based on his schooling and other exploits, 'Wily Boo' may sooner rather than later create waves in a worldclass league.
