YOUTH PROGRAMMEThe success of our youth programme is vital to our national programme yet a number of sweeping changes will have to be made in the local football fraternity in order to encourage more youngsters to see the game as an eventual means of earning a living as players, administrators and officials. Our eventual aim is to establish a programme which will allow gifted youngsters to be exposed to early rigourous training while balancing the need for academic growth. The curriculum would be enough to give youngsters an adequate education while maximizing their sporting talents. Club football at the youth level can be attractive if sufficient resources are put into it. Clubs need the assistance of the JFF to help organize and fund youth competitions. |
