  • Nesta Cater- fastest Jamaican this year

    Ran 9.78 seconds this morning in Rieti, Italy, same track that Asafa first broke the WR.

    That ties him with Gay as the World's fastest man in 2010.

    Mario Forsythe also went under the 10 seconds barrier with 9.95 while Frater had a seaosn best 9.98 seconds.

    what ever happened to Daniel Bailey?!? I guess same thing that happened to Chris Burns and Darrell Brown.

      Same thing happen to plenty who were supposed to be the next big stars ..they either peaked out, got burnt out or injury caught up with them

            Now? The 4 x 1 was always awesome even when Steve Mullings had to run the 1st leg in 2009. The four fastest Jamaicans his year ( Carter, Frater, Powell, Bolt) have struck 4 x 1 gold in 2008. We also have Blake, Askmeade and Lee ready for the heats and in for a fight for a place in the 4 x 1 final team.
            The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.
