NOT ONE WORD: WHAT SPORT IS THIS?

    Tough Draw For Pyne, Henry

    Published: Wednesday | April 11, 20120 Comments
Jamaicans Charles Pyne and Gareth Henry have been paired with tough opponents for the first round of the Peru International.

The event, which shuttles off tomorrow in Lima, Peru, will see Jamaica's number one-ranked Pyne taking on Pan American number three-ranked player and fourth seed, Stefan Wojcikiewicz of Canada.

Henry, Jamaica's number two- ranked player, is down to play regional number one ranked and tournament number one seed, Kevin Cordon of Guatemala.

Pyne and Henry, who are seeking to boost their world rankings as they seek to qualify for the London 2012 Olympics, would considerably boost their stocks if they overcome their opponents.

Pyne is currently ranked at 98 in the world, while Henry is at 120.

The cut-off date for Olympic qualification is April 29.

Charles' Dad went to school with me at JC and we ended up as roommates in university... young Pyne has done really well in badminton... he would be nearing 30 years old ( ah su mi a get owl?) so this may be one of his last chances to get something in the Olympics... if he can qualify; I wish him the best of luck!
