There are double standards for sure. However, IMO there are boundaries that (for some people) are hard to identify, but shouldn't be crossed. It comes down to maybe societal (depending on the society you are in) standards and when one is operating outside of one's own society, you have to be careful... especially if you are a black man and a celebrity (which I consider CG to be). I think if he had stopped at the "eyes" remark, he would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist, but the asking out for a drink and the "don't blush, baby" did him in.
Anyway, as long as he is hitting them out the ground, I don't expect this will hurt his employment in India where he probably makes the majority of his annual income.

And I agree. If he never plays another day in Australia, the rest of the cricket world (minus small markets like New Zealand and England) would still welcome him.

Hopefully, they'd put some muzzle on him to some degree tho.
