And the great USA is yet to win a gold medal on the track. They were completely shut out of the medals in the 110 hurdles. Is this the first time ever? One of them couldn't even escape his last place finish with his desperate dive at the line. You have to pity them!

Of course, I'm praying they leave the Games goldless!

200 Men; 200 Women, 4x1 men, 4x1 ladies to go with the 3 we have already (100 men, 100 women, Men 110 Hurdles - btw: isn't it a coincidence that all our Golds thus far were won by the proverbial "Country Mile"?????)

The Women 4x4 is a possibility if our women run aggressively - Our weak link when winning the GOLD is the target is Stephenie Ann McPherson to always run well within herself. She never run aggressively. Trust me any day she could run 49 change on the flat run. Yet she consistently runs conservatively. Conservative run will not cut it. We need that 48+ relay leg run she has in her legs to give us a realist chance at GOLD. My take is she will run even slower than her flat time of 50.60+ seh ran in the 400M finals...and match that time with her running start when going at her final's pace pace would get her a 49.00+ leg. In effect she will run slower in the relays and that particularly if we are leading when she gets the baton.

All the other ladies will run aggressively. ...btw - The talk of leaving off Christine Day is nonsense talk. She will run an aggressive starting leg. Our best choice for starting. If we make a change there then it will be a move made to 'ensure a medal is won' as opposed to aggressively going for GOLD!
