Not about that at all.
Shelly wants to do her masters at UWI and Franno does not agree she can full time study that and remain world class in track. He obviously believes that she should wait a few years, retire and THEN do that.Comment

If that's the reason he is being an ass,many Olympians pursue higher education and compete.
Shelly is more than capable of doing both,she isn't struggling financially ,she is a Gold medal Olympian so her focus to complete her task isn't faced with unfamiliarity.

Sounds to me like they are both being gracious and showing respect for their accomplishments together. I admire them both for that because you can tell that it has been a difficult situation.
