JAMAICAN RASTA Finishes Last

JAMAICAN RASTA had some trouble in the first turn and finished last
in the fifth race at Twin River Greyhound Park at Lincoln Rhode Island.

JAMAICAN RASTA, at a whopping price of 15 to 1, broke first, but couldn't hold the first turn, as the chart writer commented, "Early Speed, Flew Wide 1st Turn"

Apparently, while he struggled to gain control, the rest of the field passed him. Greyhound races are usually lost in the first turn.

PRIMCO ICEY EYES (18.40, 6.00, 2.60) was the winner by four lengths, followed by two of the bettors ' top three choices , SMILING ALTHEA (8.80, 3.40) and STARZ JAYHAWK (2.40) The $1 trifecta (8-6-3) paid a nice $356.20.
