The Jamaican women's bobsleigh team had their maiden Winter Olympics appearance left in ruins last week when their coach, who claimed to own their only sled, resigned six days before the event started.
But now, thanks to Red Stripe, the Caribbean nation is set to field its first ever female team in the sport.
German Sandra Kiriasis, a 2006 bobsleigh gold medal winner, left the Jamaican setup when she was reassigned the role of track performance analyst from driving coach.
