    <P class=StoryText align=justify>A new body will be selected today to run football in St Ann at the extraordinary biennial congress of the parish's football association at Marcus Garvey Technical High School. Registration starts at 9:30 am.
    The congress, which was first set for August 13, had to be postponed because of the lack of a quorum, which forcing the FA to convene a new meeting.
    <P class=StoryText align=justify>Top on the agenda is the election of officers. Superintendent of Police Dennis Gardner and President of Rio Hoe FC Everton Stewart will challenge the incumbent Danny Crane Beckford for the post of president.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Rudolph Cox, Dr Rohan Williams and Neil Campbell will vie for the first deputy president post, which was previously held by Dr Aston Marsh, who is not seeking re-election.
    Vannie Clarke will face-off with Karl Stephenson for the position of general secretary. The post was held for several years by Neil Campbell, who is now running for the first vice president position.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Alwin 'Daddy' Grant of Volvo FC and Dave Rodgers - an Ocho Rios-based accountant - square-off with Michael Guthrie for the post of treasurer, which was left vacant following the resignation of David Pryce of the Danny Beckford-led slate.

    Time fi people like Danny step aside. St. Ann football has not progressed under Danny.
