LOS ANGELES (AP) -Jonny Brown, Wilson Lalin and Carlos Castillo scored in the second half as Guatemala rallied for a 3-3 tie with Honduras' under-23 team in a soccer exhibition Saturday night at the Memorial Coliseum.

Carlos Pavon, Luis Rene Rodas and Quiarol Arzu scored in the first half for the Hondurans, who will compete at the Olympics in Beijing.

With Guatemala trailing 3-0, Brown scored in the 58th minute on a 7-yard shot. Guatemala then tied the score with two goals in two minutes.

Lalin headed Abner Trigueros' right-wing cross inside the left post in the 72nd minute. Castillo tied the score in the 74th minute on a 13-yard shot after Guillermo Ramirez poked the ball to him while surrounded by three defenders.

Pavon, who played last year with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy, scored in the eighth minute with a 13-yard side volley.

Pavon, the all-time leading scorer for Honduras' national team, is one of three over-age players that coach Gilberto Yearwood selected for the Olympic team.

Rodas extended the lead to 2-0 in the 26th minute by scoring from seven yards off Ramon Nunez's 24-yard free kick. Nunez played for Dallas and Chivas USA in MLS.

Arzu scored in the 45th minute when his 60-yard free kick from just inside his team's half of the field took one large bounce over Guatemala goalkeeper Ricardo Jerez.

Honduras played with 10 men after Erick Norales received a red card in second-half stoppage time.
