  • Jamaica will be tough – Honduras coach

Honduras coach Reinaldo Rueda is well aware of the task his team will face when they tackle the Reggae Boyz with their tails up after beating Mexico 1-0 to stay in the competition.
“They will be very strong in the next games,” said the coach as he arrived with his team in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday morning, just hours after leading his team to a 3-1 beating of Canada at home. “They have players who are very strong and fast who play bravely for their country. We must try to understand what they did with the Mexicans. We are not going there thinking only about how we play, we must be responsible.”
He is not surprised about the Reggae Boyz’s win against Mexico. “I am not surprised because Jamaica is a good team and with a new coach they must react.” He then went on to say, “Thanks to God and the Virgin Saint we were able to get a victory which we dedicate to the fans of Honduras. Now we will try to recuperate and fly to Jamaica to confront a team which will be very tough, but we have to be brave to get a positive result.
“We will have to analyze the game between Jamaica and Mexico and fly to the Caribbean trying to put the pieces together.”
Reuda is confident that the game against Jamaica will be competitive. “The game against Jamaica will be very tight, but we hope to play intelligently and make use of all that we possess to get what we want in the island. We will continue to work hard to get to the final (round of six).
Meanwhile, experienced midfielder Amado Guevara believes that their fate rests in their hands. “It’s not important to us what Jamaica is doing, we will have to do our work, we will have to get the points that we need, we have nine points but we are going there for a good result. We have set objectives and we are out to comply with them,” he offered.
Immediately after their arrival they set to work in preparation for Wednesday’s game. The team and its technical staff had breakfast and then had a brief workout. They will train twice today before arriving in Jamaica on Tuesday.

We need to make sure we know where they are staying and set up a street dance right there. Noise pollution act gets forgotten for one night.

Bleach out the changing room make them suffer just like they did to us in previous campaigns.
