JFF Press Release re Traffic Changes for Ja-Canada match
TRAFFIC CHANGES
The Jamaica Football Federation in conjunction with the Jamaica Constabulary Force would like to inform the general public that in order to effectively control vehicular at the National Stadium and its environs before, during and after the World Cup qualifying game between Jamaica and Canada, a number of traffic changes have been instituted.
Prior to the game changes will be implemented beginning at 2:00pm.
BEFORE THE EVENT (2:00 PM)
• Arthur Wint Drive
Arthur Wint Drive will be operated as one way - west to east from the Children’s Hospital to Roosevelt Avenue. During this period no right turns will be accommodated from North and Central Avenues onto Arthur Wint Drive.
• Roosevelt Avenue
Roosevelt Avenue will be operated as on way - south to north from Arthur Wint Drive to Stadium Terrace.
N.B. Persons wishing to access The Bustamante Hospital should enter from Tom Redcam Avenue.
AFTER THE EVENT
• Arthur Wint Drive (West) - Arthur Wint Drive will be operated as one way south, from Roosevelt Avenue to Tom Redcam Avenue.
• Arthur Wint Drive (East) - Arthur Wint Drive will be operated as one way east, from Gate 4 to Mountain View Avenue.
N.B. - Persons wishing to access The Bustamante Hospital can do so from North Avenue or Central Avenue.
• Roosevelt Avenue - Roosevelt Avenue will be operated as one
way south to north between Arthur Wint Drive as Stanton Terrace.
• Mountain View Avenue - Mountain View Avenue will operate as
one way, south to north from Arthur Wint Drive to Old Hope Road.
• Stanton Terrace - Stanton Terrace will be operated as one way,
east to west from Mountain View Avenue to Old Hope Road.
