        Field In Bad Shape

2 min. After Honduras defends a Mexico corner kick, David Suazo almost took the ball coast to coast before being caught by the Mexican defense.

The center of the field looks soggy, and players are slipping and digging up huge divots.

Honduras breaks on the counter - 3rd minute. 1st shot Honduras...wide no threat. They are going at it hammer and tongs!

Honduras has fixed the pitch. ...and practised on it - soaked - over-watered.

I am thinking - Technical skills and the hands of the 'keepers will decide this match. Honduras may ahve outsmarted themselves!

Mexico just took another shot from distance. Fitness will also be a factor as the heavy outfield will take its toll late in the match

I think Andres Cantor said a Honduras League match was played at the stadium on Sunday, and that may have mashed up the pitch.
