The case against Stoke striker Ricardo Fuller, charged with a string of motoring offences, was adjourned in his absence on Friday.

The Jamaica international was granted unconditional bail at a brief administrative hearing in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, which was conducted without magistrates present in court.

The 29-year-old was charged with driving a BMW 650i without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence after being arrested near Stoke's training ground on February 25.

It emerged at Friday's hearing that the striker, who joined Stoke in August 2006, also faces four allegations relating to an Audi Quattro.

The 29-year-old, of Weston, Crewe, is alleged to have driven the Audi without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence on Goms Mill Road, Stoke-on-Trent, on December 31 last year.

The case against Fuller, who is also accused of failing to produce a licence and insurance documents, was adjourned until March 27.

The striker scored Stoke's second goal in their 2-0 win over Bolton on Wednesday after battling back to fitness from a shoulder injury.
