Big four ease through
The CONCACAF Zone's big four of Mexico, USA, Honduras and Costa Rica safely negotiated the qualifying competition for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Nigeria 2009, which has just taken place in the Mexican city of Tijuana.
The final phase of the tournament was cancelled as a result of the swine flu epidemic that has hit the country. Despite that, there was still plenty for local fans to enjoy as the region's stars of tomorrow laid on some entertaining, high-quality football.
