KITHSON BAIN moved further down the road to becoming a Tranmere player when the FA approved the Grenada international’s application to secure a UK work permit.
Manager John Barnes hopes Rovers will be able to register the 27-year-old striker by the end of the month. In the meantime Bain is due start training with Tranmere in the next few days.
Barnes says he is excited by the potential of the powerfully-built Bain to make an impression at Prenton Park – and on League One defences.
