Taylor strikes twice on return to action
    Wednesday, September 02, 2009

He is back. Fabian Taylor returned successfully to competitive action earlier today for the first time, in the Norweigian Reserves for Notodden FK to score not just once, but twice against Sannidal FK, after five months inactivity with a broken leg in pre-season in late March 2009, just five days before the Division One season began.

The Jamaican striker was overjoyed to be once again in the middle of action and scoring, as against his watching from the stands and hopes to improve his fitness, strength and game sharpness before rejoining the senior league in a few weeks.

His on-loan Harbour View FC teammate Kavin Bryan is now establishing himself on the wing in the starting lineup of the Division One team of Notodden FK, assisting in a well-needed victory over on the weekend.
Bryan is the leading goalscorer in the Reserves with nine goals, and in so doing he just earned himself a contract extension from August until November, 2009.

They look forward, anxious to partner each other on the pitch, in a rise help Notodden FK up the tables as original Notodden FK pioneer Oniel "Bigga" Thompson was transferred to English League One contenders Barnsley FC recently.
