  • Serie A Round-up

Juventus and Sampdoria both missed out on the chance to reclaim top spot in Serie A as AC Milan's stuttering start to the season continued.
Juventus were shocked 2-0 away to Palermo as their unbeaten start to the season was brought to a shuddering halt at the Renzo Barbera.
Edinson Cavani fired the home side in front in the 37th minute with Fabio Simplicio's second three minutes before the break sealing the deserved success.
Palermo had another effort disallowed midway through the second half and could have gone on to score four or five, inspired by an industrious Fabrizio Miccoli, who himself hit the post late on.
Promoted Parma had earlier denied Sampdoria a return to the summit as the two sides fought out a 1-1 draw at Luigi Ferraris.
The hosts took a 23rd minute lead through Giampaolo Pazzini's header, but Parma were level on the half-hour mark courtesy of Daniele Galloppa's effort.
Milan coach Leonardo failed to ease the pressure on his shoulders following a 1-1 draw at 10-man Atalanta, who have yet to win this season.
Atalanta took the lead on 21 minutes through Simone Tiribocchi, but had Ivan Radovanovic sent off for two bookable offences before half-time.
After struggling to make a breakthrough, Brazilian ace Ronaldinho came to Milan's rescue by firing home the equaliser with seven minutes to go.
Roma talisman Francesco Totti was at it again as he scored a goal in each half to clinch a 2-1 win at home over Napoli.
The visitors edged ahead through Ezequiel Lavezzi on 25 minutes, but Totti levelled on 37 minutes after Simone Perrotta's shot had been blocked.
Totti then earned Roma a third league win of the campaign on 63 minutes with a shot from outside of the box after being teed up by Marco Cassetti.
Fiorentina remain in contention at the top end of the table despite being held to a 0-0 draw at home by Lazio.
Bottom club Livorno also drew 0-0, but were indebted to Siena striker Massimo Maccarone for missing a first-half penalty.
Livorno substitute Davide Marchini was dismissed for bringing down Maccarone in the area on 38 minutes, but the former Middlesbrough forward saw his spot-kick saved.
Genoa produced a solid performance away from home as they ran out 3-1 winners at lowly Bologna.
Houssine Kharja's 11th-minute penalty gave Genoa the lead before Giuseppe Sculli increased the advantage from close range on 35 minutes.
Giandomenico Mesto was sent off for Genoa on 52 minutes and, after Marco Di Vaio had pulled a goal back from the spot with five minutes to go, Alberto Zataper made sure of the win in the final minute.
Michele Marcolini scored a goal in each half as Chievo Verona came from behind to record a 2-1 success at Cagliari.
Alessandro Matri headed Cagliari in front on 38 minutes, but Marcolini levelled three minutes later and then scored the winner with 20 minutes to go after his initial shot had been saved.
