CONCACAF wants 4th World Cup spot

The forum pundits will not want Jack 'the ripper' Warner to have way on this--or any other issue. They don't like the man.

In Jack we trust for the 4th spot.

I am happy for CONCACAF if this is true.

BTW have you been watching any of the Cricket World Cup? say for example recent matches like New Zealand v. Kenya, or Sri Lanka v Canada, or even West Indies v Netherlands.

Gripping stuff! I guess that's why the ICC has decided to re-think who it lets in at the next WC..

So CONCACAF will get 4 places! and CONMBOL 4.5 ... Do these men like Warner love football?

It has been pointed out by many that while the JA U17 has qualified for mexico the standard is atrocious... is encouraging mediocrity good for anyone?

                  Not gonna happen...

No change in World Cup qualifying slots for 2014

                    Just the U-17!

Atrocious is not a harsh word. ...but my hope is the kids - who all have great technical skills - can be made into TEAM before that Mexico Final tournament.

I am dead sure they could be made into TOP OF THE WORLD TEAM.

The big question is, how do we go about that?

                    a) For training in JAMAICA we need them to be on 3 billard table fields;

                    b) We need them to play the DPL teams and show them TEAM - Bus dem arses!

                    c) We need them to tour and play strong World U-17 teams...and academy TEAMs e.g. Arsenal's and Chesea's.

                    d) We need Wendell to visit Arsenal's academy during that tour to play EPL academies and observe how they make TEAM!

..but the Barcelona's academy should also be a must stop and play against.

There is a Jamaica player, which incidentally, TSA Sports Agency helped with sponsorship, who speaks glowingly about how the concept of TEAM is 'hammered' into his head.

Says he - It is all about (the) TEAM!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

CONCACAF fails in bid for more World Cup berths

CONCACAF, soccer's regional governing body for North and Central America and the Caribbean, failed in its attempt to gain an additional berth for the 2014 World Cup.

FIFA's executive committee decided Thursday that all six continental confederations will have the same number of qualifying spots for the 2014 tournament in Brazil as they did for last year's World Cup in South Africa. But it did change the playoff system for the final berths in the 32-nation field to a draw rather than fixed pairings.
