it's all hypothesis amigo (as you well know): I was merely addressing Tilla's contention that :

"Barca was unstoppable. I do not see a team on the planet which would have stopped them yesterday."

    Sorry for your loss...

Your outlook on Man U has always been different from mine.Fact is Fergie's pre-match comments...
Had Fergie been given another bite at the apple he probably would have done things differently but water under the bridge.

You have GOT to be kidding!! even your boss admitted it was the best team he played against... it was just a question of how bad you would be beaten... a GREAT side made your team look crappy... no shame in that.

Unuh getting ridiculous now. Who on the field was quicker than Pedro? Messi, Alves and Xavi ain't slow, suh yuh slow argument nuh hold water.

La Liga only have 2 teams. Barca and Real, the other 18 teams just mek up numbers.

Let mi give the novice them Fergie game plan.

play a tight defense with Evra shading a little to the inside to help counter Messi. use a more defensive midfield to try and stop Messi, Xavi, and co. Use Hernandez over the top and with true ball from the midfield.

It was a worthwhile game plan but Barca was just better. Nothing Fergie could have done that would have changed that score line in a more positive way. It is easier he plan fi next year or the game inna the US.

It is all about TEAM ball. Barca has the passers and movers that no other TEAM has.

...besides Barca has the teacher (Hey who the hell taught the Barca players that pass and move game?) that no other team has.

Yup! Pep has proven that he has no peer at this time!

BoyU's Fergie was outcoached. BoyU's team was then outplayed! Yup! ...Pep did all his work before a ball was kicked.

Packing the midfield was never an option for me,Carrick would be better alongside Fletcher, and Scholes(the right sub)did steady the ship going forward.Park and Fletcher were essential if we had any chance of containing...,and just maybe that would've sparked Rooney's natural instinct of being a defensive presence.
There was good thing about the game,Rooney scored.....,that is tremendous regarding future encounters.
Exactly what about the first half would make you understand why no substitues were used for the start of the second?

Correct, and Giggsy was never my choice for obvious reasons.Much has been said about Barca's passing game fueling possession, and not enough about their defensive game;they closed us down insomuch that all Lenky wanted to do was boot the ball as far away from his half as possible,we should have acted in kind.
