I agree with Gamma 10000%. It is not fair to discount Messi's ability or achievement on the international stage when he is playing with lesser players. Tevez hasn't done much for Argentina either.
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

Do you mean if I would take those players qualified to represent Jamaica along with a Messi clone also qualified to represent Jamaica?

If that is what you meant - then the answer to this simple question will do: Would they make the REGGAE BOYZ more competitive in World Football? ...move us further along to TOP OF THE WORLD?

What do you think that answer would be?

Well I am hoping for us to fast forward to TOP OF THE WORLD...therefore?

...but what does that have to do with my saying based on our REGGAE BOYZ realities Messi is not the player I would use as a model for developing our TEAM?

Absolutely, nothing! ...we do not have players of the calibre of the 2 you named and there is only one Messi!
