forever. The way the press was all over this story I figured he'd be a Chelsea player now. Well, the latest from the grapevine is that MAn City may be throwing their hat into the ring.

When your core players (Cole, Terry, Lampard and Drogba) are almost the same age as the coach you have bigger issues.

Agreed, however AVB isn't afraid to put a player on the bench as seen with Lampard and Drogba. The speculation about Cahill was so hot, I was convinced it would have been the first transaction in the transfer window.Originally posted by Scaly Spurs View PostThat will not solve their problems.

It is a matter of agreeing personal terms, the youth is looking for a nice salary but Chelsea are not willing to pay him what he wants, he's got the option of sitting tight til the end of the season and leaving Bolton on a free transfer meaning he could command a bigger wage or he could join Chelsea now earning a smaller salary simply because Chelsea will have to pay Bolton 7 million. What does he do, be selfish and wait and Bolton gets nothing, or go now and earn less?Originally posted by Lazie View PostAgreed, however AVB isn't afraid to put a player on the bench as seen with Lampard and Drogba.
