Nobody is acting as if its nothing Baolltelli was in the 6 yd box, any contact that was on target would have gone in. Ibra's goal ... top shelf.

Agree with you Marin....Ballotelli's goal gets the GOLD.

Ballotelli has two constraints: 1. His back to goal 2. A defender all over him like a two bit ho.

          I rest my case:

Lazie, the ball came at ibra at a 45 degree angle, Ballatelli's came at 0 degrees and faster than Ibra's; it is far more difficult to hit a ball coming straight at you than one played at 45 degrees as you have a much harder time turning your body for a clean strike. Secondly, Ibra had no incumbrances. Ballatelli had Osheat hanging all over him, a far more difficult proposition than Ibrahimovic considering the ball was coming at 0 degrees and at pace. What makes Ibra's goal look impressive is the ballerina business and the solid nature of the strike. On skill, I give them even, on difficulty, Ballatelli all the way. Me know seh City bun unu this year, but come man, give di youth him due respec.

The man get him respect at #2. Ballotelli used O'Shea (note the spelling) for support. O'Shea also unsighted the keeper. With Ibra's shot, thekeeper saw the ball all the way into the corner of the net.
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

If I had anything about MC players I wouldn't have supported Ballotelli then. Ibra's goal is better ... hands down or should I say feet up.

Willi - if Balla-telli did play in Spain, Muadib would have declared it the GOAL OF THE CENTURY!!! They don't realize just how hard that goal was to score.

Okay. No problem. So what makes Ibra's goal better? There are two factors as I see it - you may think otherwise:

                      1. Difficulty
                      2. Skill

All Ballotteli had to do was deflect the ball in to the Goal while holding off a defender.. dat happen everyday.. 6 yard box all deflection score... the angle required for the shot and using his foot instead of his head makes it well above average.

Ibr had to take a shot from almost 18 yards and beat a well positioned and sighted keeper..

                        Unnuh mad to ************...
