It is not about following the NFL it is about seeing that they do a poor job of managing their sports franchises. At least in the NFL the profit sharing arrangement is much better and they can rest on their laurels, lose and still make healthy profits. And there is no fear of relegation. I wonder how they became and remained billionaire business people, though, if they couldn't see that they needed to be on their A game every day if they hoped to be mentioned with Real, Bayern and Barca everyday?
