Let's start make up some noise to get Burrell and Tappa's attention. Class is class. Giggs is 38 and that pass that he made to RVP is worth the cost of admission and more. Scholes is 37, Pirlo 38, Carrick 31, Lampard 33, Drogba 33. I would take Burton today over many of those young prentenders in our team. Burton gave Jamaica 150% of himself and never refused a call-up to the national side. Call him NOW!!!!!
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

If he still has "the desire"...worth thinking on!
One thing we know, in terms of goals scored at Hex level and above we have no goalscorers with good credentials.

...it would not be a stretch to think we could do worse/perform worse than with Burton in team.

He will have lost pace but surely he would not have lost his smarts - passing and movement, movement and passing - and his goalscoring ability? Right?

Even a gamble on young Hyde of Wolmers, Harbour View and JA's U-17 may
be worth teaming with Ryan Johnson, Shelton (when he returns) and those plying their trade in England... Right?

As for Hyde, he is fast...young...impressionable...at the age when the young as for absorbing knowledge is as a sponge...can be taught the finer points on the art of goalscoring... Right?

The young are fast learners!Curious...inquisitive...good motor skills...nothing fazes them...fearless!

            Oh for teachers/real coaches...???
