True although he had settled in to right back for a while but is back all over the place now. He is not very good in central defense, but has been fairly decent in d-mid. If it was 2 years ago, I don't think he would add any value to the side, but he has shaken off the rocky start and improved quite a bit.

League One baller who has struggled above that level. Although he has put a couple in the net this year as a sub. Don't think he is any better than what we currently have.

You notice Pepe and Bibi are no longer a part of the squad? You notice Whitmore drop Pepe after he didn't show up?
It was a lot more but the fact is most like King are "outa grass". Tappa realise very early in his job as national coach that the team was too indiscipline and he made changes or right now he would coaching Seba United for the upteen time.

You think it was only King breaking curfew? Look you want to check out what Pepe, Bibi, and Whitmore was doing as well. You might find that the disciplinarian having a hard time disciplining players he played with because he was guilty of the same things.Originally posted by Assasin View PostIt nuh matter if King came back in a drunk state?
Him should box Tappa too? Again what did he do to Humpries, tutor him?
You never hear that King jump out of hotel room in Miami too when under curfew???
Sorry mi can't support King on this. How comes Nugsby and Mapp nuh inna nothing. Simpson did his thing and apologise.
King is never wrong fi some one. Mark my word, King will be a disprution to our team.

It is not difficult at all, and his pretty straightforward. Beckford or King in for Ryan Johnson, Hoilett in for Shelton, Elliott in to partner Austin and Hue in midfield and Danny Simpson come in at right back. 4-3-3Originally posted by Paul Marin View PostDo you realise what "4 or 5" quality additions means? That is a heap of work and almost an entire overhaul. Not saying you're wrong, just pointing out the magnitude of the task at hand if you're right.

We can complicate it if we want but it is simple.

was argentinia a good team when the karate kid won the wc,or man u when best won the div 1 title ,or france when zidanne took them to the final and headbutted a man or spain with all those racist or a racist coach , or italy when balotelli fired them to a final , so now the bar has been moved from england qualfying to numerous cups to being a good team.
England to me will never be a good team, but the rest i mentioned were great.

Now you getting absurd. King should have slapped Boxjuice; if this curfew after the game thing is true it is pure amateurism on the JFF part to have an unwritten curfew after a game and then select only 2 who broke it (yes more than them broke that rule, but only them got punished).Originally posted by Assasin View PostWhat kind of mentorship? The one he gave to Humpries?
How many chances can one man get?

Not necessarily so,those that you have mentioned are numb to the poverty and hoplessness ,the RB40 might be shocked at the poverty and stunned that these youths see them as heroes for a greater cause to put Jamaica on the map and what it means to them(youths),thus empowerig them(both) to strive harder or even shape up in Kings case.

How much time off from their clubs do you think these players will get? That is why players like Fuller, Omar Daley and JJ will be more committed to the program. They have to come back to JamDown when their playing days are done.

I will suggest a psychological move to keep the RBYZ grounded esp KING, let them interact or mentor youths in a depressed area in Jamaica , let them explain to the youths the regiours of the mission to get to Brazil and why its important to (them/personally ) and the youths personally, what do they gain , what do the youths gain.
Let them visit these youths once a week(flexible)and do community work.fix a fence , sweep a yard or run a boat.
If he screws up he has to explain to them why he screws up.Let the team have group meetings on said experience.
The schedule and time are flexible of course, dependent on club & country .

You could even throw in EVRA & ANELKA and half of the france squad that lead that revolt in the last WC .Man management is a part of football , Jamaica uses it as an excuse not to deal with it rather than an oppourtunity to grow up.

I like your picks. However you all realise that we don't have much time to get these nee players to gel. Tappa has worked to get this core to play for eachother.
