Just spoke on Maestro - Tried to be diplomatic but it appears to me that he would love to play Maestro if Maestro's work-rate was increased.

His words were something to the point...not verbatim - "He needs Jermaine to be more in the game. To be more on the ball as we know what a Jermaine Hue can do with the ball". He needs to demand the ball...".

Says to me that Tappa said - Maestro must move and pass/pass and move more...as "giving more=passing more often/more quickly = less time on ball on each occasion the ball is received & that shall lead to "more often receipt of the ball" as 'giving (more often)' gets you 'more often return receipt of the ball' = more of the ball = more touches = more opportunity to "do damage"/set up attacks/change point of attack/assist on defense!!!! === more work needed!

Tappa at his peak had a very good work rate; so he should know what he is looking for.

I cannot speak a lot about Hue...but from the games i have seen him play...he is average (as PR would say ...IMO).

The truth is that even at this age he is not playing up to his potential...as he is not working hard enough/continuously during matches. He does not have to rushing around as the young bucks...but he must be 'sliding into space' always. ...he should take a leaf out of the Italian playmaker -- the old slow Pirlo.

Pirlo, Andrea: Nicknamed "l'architetto" (the architect).

A key player in the Italian national team since his debut in 2002, Pirlo won the 2006 World Cup and put in some wonderful performances in helping his side to the final of Euro 2012 where they were beaten by Spain.

Strengths: One of the most accurate passers in the game. He is also a free-kick specialist.

Weaknesses: Not blessed with pace, he is also sometimes caught out when required to win the ball back.

Style: Incisive, calm, a silky midfielder with incredible vision.
Jermaine Hue could be our Pirlo...but only if he wishes to be so!!!

You think playing for the national team is a joke. NO PLAYER WHO ONLY CONTRIBUTES EFFORT SOMETIMES SHOULD EVEN BE IN THE SQUAD.

We all hope Maestro because he is in the squad will start giving FULL 100. ...as we all want to win!!!

Jermaine Hue can play much better than he is doing now. He can give more...and he has to make up his mind whether he is going to be stubborn and claim that his 'stop-start-stop-start' efforts during matches is the best he can do or give us 100% FULL movement and passing/passing and movement for entire matches - NON-STOP EFFORT!!!

That said with all your slights ,he is the best that we have ? so do we omit him and spend another 15 years trying to find another placement.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

...the best we have at what?
Is he our best passer? Yes!

...but would you play your best passer who makes 1 pass per game and nothing else? ...playing for 90 minus 89+minutes = a few seconds with eleven players and the rest of the time with 10 players?

Well Jermaine is no way as bad as being absent for 89+ minutes in 90 minutes match...but I hope you can follow what I have been saying about him for a long, long time. As we progress higher and higher on the road to Brazil 2014...it becomes more difficult to win games when we have all X1 giving good effort. Just think on how much more difficult it will be to win with less than full effort from any 1 player.

In light of the quality of our squad would you really wish we play even 10 minutes with 10 players? Boss, we cannot afford to not have each of our players giving FULL 100 effort....at anytime in any match!!!

Stupidest reasons if I ever heard of one....Are we sayinf Hue is not trying or he is deliberatey not doing what the coach is asking? IF it's the latter, why bother call him?
And if he is really trying but not there yet...why the hell not play him especially since there is no one there half as good as he is...even at half pace. madness.

It might be good that McAnuff is gonna be out..will force Tappa to do something different
