Game ended 0-0, Wes Morgan (Leicester City) and Rudolph Austin (Leeds United) both played the entire game Coach Schafer was at the game, he met with Wes Morgan and Rudolph Austin after the game.
Rudolph, skippered Leeds for the first time since his appointment in Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Leicester City.
“I was shocked to be honest because I didn’t know the gaffer had so much respect for me and saw me as a leader,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
“He called me to his office on Friday and I was blown away.”
Austin added: “I said I wanted some time to think about it but he insisted I take it because he thought I would do a good job.
“It’s very pleasing to have been asked to do the job and an honour to be the captain of such a big club.”
The 28-year-old joined the Elland Road club from Norwegian Tippeligaen side SK Brannlast summer for an undisclosed fee and made 38 appearances in his debut season in England.Sunday, August 28th, 2011. We will never forget !!Comment
