A few days ago, it was stated (on this forum) that South Africa may not host the WC games. That infrastructure and other factors were the cause...

Folks who understand management will tell you that contingency planning is basic to every business operation. What the FIFA President did was to list several countries that would be available--if the South Africa was unable to host the cup. Currently, South Africa is well under way to carry out their responsibility as host.

(...there goes my plans for the US getting the games~sigh~)
