Cristiano Ronaldo has passed 400 official goals in his career

With the three goals that he scored against Sweden, Cristiano Ronaldo went passed the 400 career goals mark. The Real Madrid forward has scored for each of the teams that he has played in and reaches the figure having scored goals for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Portugal. He scored his first goal as a Real Madrid player on 29th August 2009 on his La Liga debut against Deportivo at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid is the club where he has scored the most goals in his career, 226 in 216 matches. Since coming to the Whites his scoring rate has rocketed and seen him reach 401 goals very quickly. The Portuguese has scored more than 54 goals for Real Madrid in three consecutive seasons, something that he had never achieved since his debut in October 2002 in Sporting Lisbon’s 3-0 win against Moreirense.

His killer instinct has been rewarded with two Golden Boots. The first of those came in 2007/08, when he played for Manchester United, and the other in 2010/ 11, whilst at Real Madrid. He is the fifth leading scorer in Whites’ history behind club legends Raul, Di Stefano, Santillana and Puskas.
