Chuba Akpom completed 90 minutes on his Coventry debut but could not prevent Steven Pressley's side from defeat at home to Carlisle. Franck Moussa's 14th goal of the season gave Coventry the lead but Liam Noble and Sam Byrne struck after the break to ensure victory for the visitors.

The striker replaced Leon Best after 70 minutes and the game was decided soon after when Patrick Bamford curled an impressive effort beyond Chris Kirkland. Damian Martinez was an unused substitute.

Jamie Vardy gave the league leaders a first-half advantage but Jamie Paterson and Andy Reid strikes turned the game around before the break. Paul Konchesky was then sent off but Riyad Mahrez equalised in the final 10 minutes to extend the Foxes' advantage at the top of the Championship to eight points.
