  • ManU vs Sunderland

    This game proves some things:
    1. Ryan Giggs is nothing special as a coach
    2. Nani is a spent force
    3. The team needs an overall to get rid of the many deadwoods
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

The onlooking new coach is seeing what needs to be done. The good think he won't have any sentimental connection with most of the players, so who needs to go, will get cut.

One win and one loss and you have arrived at that conclusion? Sometimes it is not the coach alone that is the problem, but what he is working with.

I can't wait for the Dutch man fi tek over Man U. I am putting my head on the block right now and telling Lazie, Jangle, Westman, Rockman or whoever want to listen. Van Gal will be a failure at Manchester United. He will spend a bucket load of cash and it will end in tears.

Clearly you don't value your head. What if Van Gaal isn't hired? What will you do with your head then?

                Raymond Veirheijen

Nice wake up call for Ryan Giggs this afternoon. Plenty of time next season to do an extra coaching course or two together with his buddies.
Funny to see that people in a superficial football country still think players can jump straight into management without any experience.
It has taken top managers like Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez years of hard work and education to become who they are today.
According to Ryan Giggs the Man United players were a little flat today. Maybe something to do with introducing double sessions this week?

May I use your post to emphasize that point on Moyes?
Thanks for giving the go ahead.

                  Of course Moyes is right!

Maybe if it was a newly appointed coach then the cry would be it is too early for anything conclusve.
Giggsy isn't exactly in an unfamiliar setting though.
I am not convinced by Mata, perhaps the goals in the previous game meant everything.Nani is rusty but it was expected that he would be in the starting lineup before the season officially ends.
Our season ended from a few games now,the games left are to identify and fix our problems.
We have to spend some money......

Dunny, when food stick to the pot bottom, sometimes no matter how long you put it fi soak yuh just haffi use the steel wool fi scrub out the pot. ManU need some steel wool right ya now.

I like that analogy Jangle, very a propos. Thing is, how much is the food stuck o the pot bottom... you will have to apply the right amount of scrubbing, you might remove some of the pot bottom if it too rough... Anyway, I am not so fanatic that I won't wish you "good luck", even if I don't mean it....
