  • Marketing the ReggaeBoyz

If the JFF wants to attract any meaningful financial backing/endorsements, the first thing they have to do is (in the words of Al Davis) "Just Win Baby." Which means they have to develop & implement a comprehensive plan to teach/develop good players, coaches, trainers etc.
Regardless how well groomed & impeccably dressed the players & coaches are, if you're not winning no one will be interested, because winners attract followers/supporters who purchase......And that's the business. What is the return on investment for your financial backers/endorsers.
Bob Marley certainly didn't fit the mold, especially in the '70s, but attracted offers from Pepsi etc. because he was a marquee artist that had a large following. The same can be said for Jay Z, Lil' Wayne etc. If you look at some coaches who are receiving lucrative contracts & endorsements, they don't wear suits.
    - People love & want to be associated with winners.

Good points. What I am more concern about is how we reach out to the fans.
Winning alone won't do it. We did that yet we didn't capitalize on marketing.

We have a lot of work to do. JFF and Jamaican football is not in any marketplace at all. Getting a Jersey at a reasonable price is like looking for antique. Getting a picture with people like Bolt etc. when we going in tournament can only help to promote our profile, only people we take picture with is Seaga/Burrell/Babsy. We may have to line up a entertainer or two when we play matches in places like NY, FL, and places where Jamaicans are to attract them.

The basic list goes on but it is the little things we do.

Half of the solution! ...scratch that....the major part of the solution!
      On point, boss!

..the other tiny part: Is finding and using savy leaders who can lead on marketing our BOYZ!

The JFF needs enterprising, business-minded people who can seek out & contract good marketing firms to get strong lucrative deals.

Just answered above. The JFF will need to get good, experienced & savvy marketing reps, BUT they have to present a viable product (a winning team) for these reps to work with.
