He was injured and missed most of the second half of the season, but should be ready for the next.
Tilla, this Cesc to Chelsea business is just Barca trying to get a good price for him, so they are trying to drum up interest to get an auction going. Arsenal have them by the balls on this one because the buy back clause is only 25 mil. Arsenal have first option on him so Wenger being the poker player is just sitting there watching who is gonna show their hand.

It always amazes me how Barca and Real can use the media to their advantage. They somehow seem to start these rumors in the Spanish press and the British press just pick it up and run with it.

I hope Cesc go back to Arsenal if he decides to return to the EPL.

Indeed, what they don't realize is that with FFP kicking in teams like chelsea with only a 40,000 gate can't buy players willy nilly anymore, so let them carry on playing their little games.

I think Chelsea can still buy players, but they would have to sell to make it happen. There are a lot of players who can be sold to put money together. Take for example, loaners like Marko Marin, Bertram, Moses, Oriol Romeu, Gael Kakuta, Josh McEachron and Wallace could bring in some reasonable cash. Now, if you add to that list Petr Cech, Mikel John Obi, Demba Ba and Fernando Torres. I am thinking that an easy 100 million pounds could be raised right there.

So short-term, for the upcoming season, they could make some deals and still abide by FFP if they cash in on some players.

PSG also offering 60 million for Hazard and another 15 for Ivanovich. I am thinking Chelsea will be holding out on Hazard, but if PSG should go up to a figure they find hard to refuse, then Cesc investment would make sense.

So how does PSG abide by FFP when they're putting up that amount to buy ONE player?

Only God knows. Well and maybe the person who is fixing the books.
I think FFP may have more bark than bite as clubs will come to find out.

Dunny, see there is talk that PSG would put up 100 million pounds for Hazard. I would take it and use the money to get Pogba and Koke. Seems as if Mourinho is not too keen on Cesc, but they are saying Chelsea and the player have already agreed to terms.

I know PSG wants Hazard like how dry peas want fire and I think if the price is right Jose will sell him, I just can't see Mourinho signing Cesc those 2 aren't fond of each other from way back.

Once again Arsene and Arsenal lack ambition beyond

fourth place, Why refuse to buy back Cesc .... leave the midfielders to compete for their spot is the best option. Yet As always Arsene will come with alot of crack..." We have Darby, Wilshere, Oxlade, Ozil ...blaaaah.... blaah to fill that need. Wowie comical to rahtid...I believe if Arsenal had any sort of ambition transfesr should not be left to the scrooge to spend or buy any players worth their trainers.
He Wenger personally lack vision to spot Team needs during games and before season starts..

Cesc forced a move to Barcelona when we needed him most, he had everything at Arsenal, he was the captain the fans adored him, now Barcelona put him on the scrap heap he wants to come back. He is not needed we are well covered in those attacking areas. The priority is a striker, defensive midfielder, right back and back up goalkeeper. Arsene knows best, we don't collect players for the sake of it

so do you believe Arsene will buy a stand out striker

plus someone for the other positions you stated.....That will not happen, the man spend the money as if it's his. He will not buy anyone worth their trainers.
I think it was pointed out here he doesn't want the pressure of really having a competitive team, therefore getting a striker of top quality will be out of the question. I don't think you or other staunch supporters understand how this man work even Henry knew that last year, the league was for the taken if Arsene had move vociferously in the January transfer.
Fabergas is better than Wilshere, the ox as a midfielder and Rosicky.
Last time you posted that The player won't move to Chelsea and it was a game manship on Barselona part now you come with a new tune....I bet if Arsene had moved for him you would come defending the move.
I hope the fans in England realized what's going on and boycott the stadium. This team is not ready and won't be winning anything beyond FA cup any time soon.

Peejay gwaan go sidung, Wenger knows best. The necessary reinforcements will be made while we also make a profit. Like I said before if the money is available Arsene will spend it, if it is not available we do with what we have. Arsenal football club is run on the principle that we only spend from the income that we receive if we wanted a sugar daddy then we already have one in Usmanov who is the second majority shareholder at the club and is twice as rich as Abromovich. Money is now available to spend on the right players at the right price. Hence the purchase of Ozil and the attempt to get Suarez last season. If you don't like how our club run boss then go and support Man City or Chelski a so the ting set boss. In Wenger we trust hence a new 3 year contract.
